Instructions to make Apple Pie:
  1. Preheat oven to 475°F.
  2. Melt butter in saucepan.
  3. Stir in flour to form paste.
  4. Add water, sugar and brown sugar and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and let simmer.
  6. Place bottom crust in pie pan and fill with apples, mounded slightly.
  7. Cut 2nd pie crust into 1" strips.
  8. Place strips over apples in a weave pattern to form lattice work crust
  9. Gently pour mixture over lattice work crust. Pour slowly to allow mixture to penetrate apples.
  10. Bake 15 minutes.
  11. Reduce heat to 350°F. Continue baking 30 to 45 minutes until apples are soft.
